Seniors Addressing Risks at Home

The purpose of SARaH is to provide a friendly ear and some conversation to older adults living in Perth Metropolitan who may be feeling lonely, vulnerable and isolated. Isolation is one of the most difficult things to combat as we age and it often goes hand in hand with changes in relationships, health and independence.

SARaH gives older adults access to peers who can provide some reassurance, conversation and information. If a call is answered by someone other than the older adult or a message needs to be left,  then volunteers can leave a message, knowing that it will be heard as Sarah called. Only the person who has asked to be contacted via SARaH will know that a volunteer has called them.

Direct all techinical enquiries to the Client Corporate Coordinator, and any concerns or referrals through to the Nurse Advocate within the Older People's Rights Service.
